Welcome to the new website

Hello, and welcome to the new A19 Industries website.

I'm Harry Laird, and A19 Industries is the name I work under. If you have found your way here, you are probably a small business or a sole trader with something you need built — so here is the short version of what I do and how to reach me.

What I can help with

Websites. Anything from a few pages that tell people who you are and how to book you, through to something with accounts, bookings or payments behind it.

Electronics and connected devices. If you need a physical thing that measures, monitors or controls something — and reports back — that is the other half of what I do.

Modelling and simulation. Building a working model of a real system, so you can test how it behaves before committing time and money to it.

If you are not sure which of those your idea is, that's fine. Most people aren't, and working it out is part of the job.

What is on the site

The Work section has the projects I have delivered. A few of them are still waiting on a proper write-up — they are marked as such rather than dressed up. More will appear there as I finish them.

This blog is where I will put updates, notes on things I have built, and the occasional useful bit of advice.
